The re-screen a common offensive tactic used in a pick and roll scenario. After the defense has successfully recovered, you can re-screen that same defender to regain an offensive advantage.

You can also use this off of the ball as well to put the help defender out of position. An example would be a back screen followed up by a pindown.

Re-screen’s can give an advantage for the ball handler to score, the screener and the third player as well. Usually when the third player or off ball player is being re-screened for the scoring options are the same as scoring off of a screen without the ball, so for example, curls and fades.
