Master your floater with this 1 and 2 foot floater drill. 

 

To drill this:

1. Start at the elbow area

2. Attack midline

 

2 foot floaters: Make 5 shots then end with 2 swishes IN A ROW. 

1 foot floaters: Make 5 shots then end with 2 swishes IN A ROW. 

Repeat 4X 

Minimum of 20 total makes each drill. 

 

2 swishes in a row will force you to get the basketball up higher and lock you in to really focus on your touch! 

 

Key Points: 

Open Palm on release

2 foot floaters: 

1. Hop off the initial dribble step

2. Gather the ball in the air

3. Land outside inside 

4. Square shoulders in air

 

1 foot floaters: 

1. Bring the basketball quickly up from the hip off the dribble

2. Gather the ball clean without stopping he momentum 

3. Open palm on release
