There are six levels of scoring in the game of basketball:
– Level 1: At the Rim
– Level 2: Touch Shots and Floaters
– Level 3: Midrange Jumpers
– Level 4: Traditional Three’s
– Level 5: Deep Three’s *covered today*
– Level 6: Free Throw Line

– Start in the paint and progressively move backwards one step at a time.
**KEY: DO NOT USE YOUR LEGS TO POWER YOUR SHOT**
– Your lift point will start to get lower the further you progress backwards
– Once you’re comfortable and understand a good lift point with power. Move on.
– If at anytime you lose it. Come back to this drill.
– Start in the paint and progressively move backwards one step at a time.
**KEY: DO NOT JUMP TO POWER YOUR SHOT**
– Your lift point will start to get lower the further you progress backwards
– Once you find the spot where you cannot progress any further backwards, rep out your shot from that spot.
– After you feel comfortable with your new lower lift point, move on to the next drill.
– Exaggerate your range by standing 25-27 feet from the basket.
– Shoot your shot by twisting your trunk to generate more power
– After you shoot land with your feet staggered towards the opposite sideline
– Make (10) shots
Goal
Make (100) 3 Point Shots
Procedure
Shoot at each spot until you miss two shots in a row.
Keep track of each made shot for a cumulative score.
When you miss two shots in a row, move on to the next spot.
Follow the same procedure until you reach Spot #5.
Once you miss two shots in a row at Spot #5, your challenge is over.
