Finish #1: Push Cross (10) Makes alternating

Veer finish allows your to shield the ball from the defender. Step into the defender or into their path.

– Bounce the dribble out elbow to elbow (2 dribbles) finishing into a split
– One dribble downhill, step right into the defender’s frame and finish left-right
Power finish is when you skip on inside foot landing on the outside foot initiating contact with the defender for better balance and control to shield the ball.
Key elements of a Power Finish include:
• Creating Contact: Creating contact rather than drifting, reducing the chance of being knocked off balance.
• Shielding the ball: Using the body or off-hand to protect against shot blockers.

Step 1: BTB into Pro Hop
– Start at the block
– One dribble with outside hand
– Behind the back
– Pull off inside foot (pro hop)
Step 2: Extension Finish
– Land with an outside/inside footwork
– Extend the ball away
– Finish with outside hand on opposite side of the rim

Baseline dribble thru is when the ball handler keeps their dribble alive on the baseline until there is a better opportunity to either pass or score.

– Rip across your frame
