This workshop is for serious basketball players who have a dream to one day play college basketball.
Two days of intentional player development with DJ Sackmann and Chris Lewis designed to help athletes sharpen their game, improve how they read and understand basketball, and prepare for the season with purpose.
Your season starts before the first game.
If college basketball is the dream, your preparation has to match it.
Having a dream is important. Learning how to prepare for that dream is what separates players.
The goal of this weekend isn't to make athletes tired or give them a collection of new moves. It's to put them in an environment that challenges their skill, decision-making, competitiveness, habits, and understanding of the game.
Athletes will train with DJ Sackmann and Chris Lewis while learning how serious players approach development before the season begins.
Build the player the next level is going to require.
Skill alone isn't enough. Players must be able to create advantages, understand what they see, make decisions, and consistently impact winning.
Sharpen Your Game
Train the ball handling, finishing, shooting, footwork, and scoring skills that must hold up against better defenders.
See The Game Better
Connect your skill work to reads, spacing, defenders, decision-making, and understanding what the game is asking you to do.
Prepare Like A Player
Learn how serious players approach training, communication, preparation, and the work required to keep progressing.
Serious players with serious goals.
Middle School and High School athletes will train separately so each group can be challenged at the appropriate level.
You Want To Play At The Next Level
College basketball is part of your long-term dream and you want to understand the habits required to move toward it.
You Want Game Translation
You want training that improves how you actually perform when defenders, decisions, and pressure are added.
You Want To Be Coached
You're willing to listen, compete, communicate, make mistakes, and be challenged in order to improve.
Parent + Player Seminar
Development doesn't stop when athletes leave the court.
On Saturday, Middle School and High School athletes will come together with their parents for a special educational session focused on helping families better understand the basketball development journey.
The goal is to help players and parents get on the same page around development, expectations, communication, preparation, and what it really takes to keep progressing toward higher levels of basketball.
Saturday · 11:45 AM–12:30 PMThe Preseason Prep Workbook
The weekend ends. Your preparation doesn't.
Every athlete will receive the HoopStudy Preseason Prep Workbook to help connect what they learn during the workshop to the work they continue doing as their season approaches.
The goal is to leave with more than a great workout. Athletes should leave with greater clarity around their development, their habits, and what they need to continue improving.
