Saturday, November 7 + Sunday, November 8
Built for serious basketball players who want to enter the season prepared.
Two days of intentional player development with DJ Sackmann designed to help serious athletes sharpen their game, prepare with purpose, and enter the season with a plan.
Your season starts before the first game.
Showing up to the season isn't the same as being ready for it.
Players spend months training, but too many enter the season without a clear understanding of what their game actually needs.
Preseason development shouldn't be random. The goal isn't simply to work harder, collect more drills, or get tired. The goal is to identify what needs to improve and train it with enough purpose that it translates when the season begins.
This two-day workshop gives athletes an opportunity to train with DJ Sackmann while learning how to approach their own development with more intention.
Build the player the season is going to require.
Skill matters, but great player development connects skill execution to decision-making, game application, and the habits needed to perform consistently.
Sharpen Your Game
Train with purpose and improve the quality of the skills you will actually need when competition begins.
Understand The Why
Develop a better understanding of how skills connect to decisions, reads, and real game situations.
Build Your Plan
Leave with a clearer understanding of how to approach the final stretch of preseason development with intention.
Built for players who are serious about improving.
You don't need to be the best player in the gym. You do need to be willing to learn, compete, and be coached.
You Want To Improve
You're looking for more than simply getting reps. You want your work to have a purpose.
You Want Game Translation
You want skills that make sense inside actual basketball instead of drills that only look good in workouts.
You Want To Be Ready
You're willing to use the preseason to prepare your game, habits, and mindset before competition starts.
The Preseason Prep Workbook
The training ends on Sunday. The preparation doesn't.
Every registered athlete will receive the HoopStudy Preseason Prep Workbook to help connect what they learn during the weekend to the work they continue doing as their season approaches.
The goal is simple: leave Gig Harbor with more than memories from a great workout. Leave with greater clarity around your own development and how you want to approach the season ahead.
